Senior Business Analyst

For a client in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

• Until the end of 2025 (extendable)
• Full-time

• Brussels, with 2 days per week on-site

• Dutch: Active knowledge
• French: Active knowledge
• English: Active knowledge

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business information after consultation with stakeholders.
• Describe use cases and perform business analysis techniques such as process and information flows.
• Document existing systems.
• Develop solutions for specific flows and translate them into the "to be" flow.
• Validate digital solutions through agile working in sprints.
• Participate in business helpdesk queries and set up KPIs.
• Build a network with business stakeholders and organize ad hoc consultations.
• Detect relevant seminars and topics.
• Draft texts for communication and presentations for training.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis.
• Experience in documenting business information and describing use cases.
• Knowledge of the landscape and experience with digital flows.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience in an environment with objectives and deadlines.
• Experience with tools like JIRA is a plus.

Education

• Master's degree is required.
• Ideally a university degree.

Communication and Training

• Participation in a working group on communication and training.
• Draft texts for the 'communication referral prescriptions' working group.
• Collaboration with training organizations to develop end-user training.

• Close collaboration with other business analysts, communication experts, and the technical team.
• External collaboration with stakeholders of end-users and project organizations.
