For a client, we are seeking a Business/Funct. Analyst 

Start Date: January 1, 2025
End Date: December 31, 2025

Location: Brussel

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a gap-analysis of the Payment Pre-validation Beneficiary Account Verification (BAV) service compared with other market offerings.
• Develop supporting documentation such as functional specifications or test/use cases.
• Execute business tests and document use cases in the developer portal.
• Analyze and track feedback, proposing roadmap enhancements as necessary.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops, consulting with multiple participants, and adapting communication to the audience.
• Master the Pre-validation consumer and data provider model to assist with project management tasks for the onboarding of BAV participants.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in gap-analysis of financial formats.
• Professional knowledge in cross-border payments and correspondent banking.
• Hands-on experience with Confirmation of Payee schemes, such as Pay.UK or EPC's Verification of Payee.
• Familiarity with financial messaging standards, including mandatory elements for cross-border credit transfers.

Desired Skills:

• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to explain complex systems clearly, including market role and API technology within the Pre-validation product.
• Basic understanding of financial messaging standards.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with regional teams.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English is required.
