Senior Digital UI/UX Information Architect & Wireframer

For a client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital UI/UX Information Architect & Wireframer to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the long-term evolutions of our mobile and web banking applications for both clients and employees.

Location: Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive view of the project's ecosystem and translate abstract ideas into tangible and visual forms for all stakeholders.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders through ideation and gather insights from user testing, benchmarking, and data analytics.
• Defend the voice of the customer while aligning with business stakeholder needs.
• Curate Information Architecture to ensure intuitive usability.
• Draft high-level wireframes and confront the impact of proposed solutions against current metrics.
• Produce a concept report that solidifies your approach, research, testing, and proposed user flows.
• Lead the ideation phase of the project and support the UX/UI designer in the refinement after concept validation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Digital Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in concept design, service design, and/or information architecture.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work (mandatory for application).

Technical Experience:

• Experience in ideation with stakeholders independently and in groups.
• Comfortable in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFE, Spotify model).
• Mobile First and accessibility mindset.

Business Experience:

• Proven track record of broad experience in similar roles.
• Knowledge of the Banking/financial environment is preferable.

• Analytical and structured thinking.
• Excellent briefing and active listening skills.
• Awareness of organizational sensitivities and stakeholder management.

Language Requirements:

• Profound level of English (C1-level) in understanding, spoken, and written form.
• Good understanding (B1/2-level) of French or Dutch, with the ability to write and speak in one of both languages considered an important asset.
