Opportunity: Senior Enterprise Architect

Job Description

The Enterprise Architect will:

• Analyze corporate strategy and translate it into portfolio management strategies, business-driven IT roadmaps, and business capability maps.
• Define the architecture and functional design needs to support and meet business goals.
• Communicate the application strategy process to business and IT actors.
• Gather and analyze business requirements using business and IT surveys to evaluate the IT landscape.
• Conduct trade-off analysis using industry-known methods to formulate constructive recommendations.
• Help maintain the application portfolio in close cooperation with application owners and other stakeholders.
• Collect application-related information (e.g., cost-related information) as additional input for analysis using industry standard methods.
• Maintain an application map of the as-is landscape across various layers, such as applications, technology, data, and integration, to enrich the Enterprise Architecture repository.
• Maintain the architecture decisions repository.
• Validate recommendations with senior management of business and IT.
• Contribute to building an enterprise-wide IT roadmap covering current and planned initiatives, projects, and programs reflecting impacts and dependencies.
• Integrate architecture-related processes with other IT management processes like Project Portfolio and IT Service Management.
