For a client, we are seeking a Product Owner - Data Products:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate a product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and digital transformation efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to design and evolve data products in line with business objectives and data requirements.
• Translate business data needs into comprehensive data user stories, manage the data product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure efficient delivery.
• Develop and manage data models and operational information for IT tools, including data warehouses, adhering to data governance standards.
• Act as the Product Owner following Agile-Scrum methodology, collaborating on sprint and release plans with the Scrum Master and other Product Owners.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data products within cross-functional projects to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios for datasets, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and train business users in the optimal usage of data products and tools.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying and acting on opportunities for product and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, analytics, computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in leading data product teams or managing Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing projects.

Skills:

• Proficiency in data modeling, business process modeling, and understanding of data governance concepts.
• Experience with Data Lake, Databricks, PowerBI, and other data tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Agile-Scrum methodology with experience as a Scrum Product Owner.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or French, with a good knowledge of English.
