For a client we are seeking a Senior ABAP Developer with SAP BTP, PI/PO Expertise.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), PI (Process Integration), and PO (Process Orchestration). The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications and interfaces within the SAP landscape, leveraging deep technical knowledge in ABAP and integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance custom ABAP reports, programs, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).
• Create complex ABAP objects including BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, ALV reports, Smart Forms, and SAPscript.
• Perform ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of custom developments and standard enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP workflow applications and enhancements.
• Develop and integrate applications on SAP BTP using SAP Cloud Platform SDKs, APIs, and services.
• Work with SAP BTP services, including SAP Fiori, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Utilize SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) for building enterprise-ready cloud applications.
• Implement security features on SAP BTP.
• Design, develop, and support SAP PI/PO interfaces for connecting SAP systems with non-SAP systems.
• Develop integration scenarios, mappings, and routing rules using graphical and message-mapping tools.
• Configure adapters for seamless communication between SAP and external systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot PI/PO interfaces for performance issues and errors.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues during integration projects and after go-live.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in ABAP/4, ABAP OO, and SAP Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reporting.
• Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and OData services.
• Experience in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tuning, and SQL Query Optimization.
• Hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting SAP Workflows.
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP services, including SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Cloud SDK, and Cloud Foundry.
• Proficiency in SAP PI/PO integration, including interface design, mappings, and adapters.
• Knowledge of integration protocols like SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, and Web Services.
• 5+ years of ABAP development experience in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO integration.
• 2+ years of experience working with SAP BTP, including the design and development of applications on SAP Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with middleware and integration technologies in SAP ecosystems.
• Proven track record in managing full lifecycle SAP development and integration projects.

Desired Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP Certifications in ABAP, BTP, or PI/PO are a plus.
• Experience in S/4HANA migrations and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Database and SQL Script.
• Familiarity with CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) for cloud-based integration solutions.
• Understanding of Agile or DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
