For a client in Vlaams-Brabant, we are seeking an IT Field Support Engineer for a critical migration project. This role is set to commence as soon as possible and will conclude on November 29, 2024, with the possibility of extension.

Job Title: IT Field Support Engineer
Project Duration: ASAP – 29/11/2024 (with option for extension)
Location: Vlaams-Brabant
Language Proficiency: Dutch, English, French

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, install, and configure new laptops and iPhones in line with company standards.
• Conduct data and settings migration from old to new devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation or use of new hardware.
• Provide hands-on support to end-users during the transition, including instruction and Q&A.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment installations, migrations, and incidents.
• Collaborate with the internal IT team to ensure timely and smooth migration.
• Offer post-migration support, resolving subsequent issues and providing additional guidance as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience: Proven track record as an IT Field Engineer or IT Support Engineer.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, macOS, iOS, and hardware configuration. Prior experience with migration projects is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and resolving technical problems swiftly.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
• Flexibility: Availability to work at various locations and outside regular office hours when necessary.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class B driver's license and be willing to travel to different work locations.
