For a client we are seeking a Java Developer

Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Antwerpen

Responsibilities:

• Handle backend development tasks using Spring and Java 17.
• Adhere to coding standards for backend development.
• Investigate and resolve technical back-end issues.
• Evaluate technical solutions for developing User Stories.
• Contribute to both global and detailed estimations for User Stories.
• Understand functional analysis and clarify any ambiguities before development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Senior-level experience as a Java Developer.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

Desired Skills:

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Agile environment experience, particularly with Scrum.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, adaptive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Organized and structured work approach.
• Knowledge of DevOps and/or REACT is considered a plus.
