For a client, we are seeking an IT Strategy Support Specialist :
Start Date: 01/10/2024
End Date: 31/08/2025
Work Location: Brussel
On-site Requirements: Expectation of 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking
Responsibilities:
- Support the IT Strategy team lead in overall project portfolio management.
- Prepare for several transversal Initiative Boards (project steerco).
- Analyze the bank’s budget preparation exercise.
- Assist in critical thinking, research, analysis, communication, and change management.
- Define and follow-up on action plans for complex topics, including clarification of requirements and coordination of contributors.
- Gather input from various stakeholders to deliver polished slidedecks for upper management.
- Maintain up-to-date views on the department budget and actuals, and follow-up on the department’s action backlog.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in a Consulting firm or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in IT Strategy Formulation and Implementation, Strategic Planning, IT Project and Program Planning and Management, and Change Management.
- Proven track record of delivering projects and working with IT managers such as CIO, CTO, head of Architecture, and CISO.
Key Skills Expected:
- Ability to understand and navigate the decision-making context of a banking environment.
- Collaborative skills to work with IT managers and senior IT Architects on deliverables.
- Competence in performing retrospectives and lessons-learned analysis to improve the impact of the IT Strategy team.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English.
- Active knowledge of at least one of the following languages: French or Dutch.
