For a client, we are seeking a Cyber Defense Expert specialized in IoT environments :

Project Duration:

• Start Date: 14/10/2024
• End Date: 31/12/2024

Location:

• Gosselies, with the possibility of remote work after consultation with the manager. On-site presence is required for a minimum of 2 days per week, with additional days as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the OT security strategy and its implementation.
• Design, evaluate, and implement security measures for SCADA/ADMS, DCS, PLC, and other industrial technologies.
• Integrate security principles into the design and upgrade of IoT systems.
• Conduct risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and define corrective measures for IoT environments.
• Ensure compliance with IoT security standards and contribute to obtaining security certifications.
• Monitor new IoT threats, vulnerabilities, and security solutions proactively.
• Participate in the detection, response, and management of security incidents affecting IoT systems.
• Raise awareness and train OT teams on security practices and threats specific to industrial systems.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure cross-functional security of critical infrastructures.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in OT or SCADA environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IoT systems and associated cyber risks.
• Proficiency in IoT security standards and regulations (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, NIS, etc.).
• Experience in managing OT security incidents.
• Strong command of cryptographic principles applied to critical environments.

Desired Skills:

• Scripting proficiency in languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience in the critical infrastructure sector, particularly energy, is highly valued.

Language Proficiency:

• French C2 level
