For a client, we are seeking a Network Security Engineer (DC Connectivity) to join their team starting on October 2024, for a one-year duration.

Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and support CORE network infrastructure and new environments, including Firewall infrastructure, HLB, DNS & GLB, IP, proxies infrastructure, and Firewall rules.
- Create network designs based on infrastructure and applicative requirements.
- Participate in network design reviews for infrastructure and segmentation.
- Review, implement, and enhance the network environment.
- Assist with maintaining current documentation of corporate network implementation.
- Engage in L3 troubleshooting of network systems.
- Provide network project support to other teams for enterprise and operational service upgrades and new initiatives.
- Contribute to Infrastructure and Business projects by delivering the required infrastructure and related documentation.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, validations, and upgrades on Network Systems/Applications.
- Maintain processes like Configuration Management and Monitoring of the infrastructure.
- Optimize current network implementation and introduce automation services.
Requirements:
- Experience in Network Security Management Systems such as Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewall.
- Extensive experience in Checkpoint technologies.
- Experience in F5 Technologies.
- Experience in Cloudflare product management.
- Knowledge of the AlgoSec product.
- Good knowledge of routing and switching technology (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC, OTV).
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP protocols and related DNS (Infoblox), QoS.
- Fluency in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus.
