For a client, we are seeking an experienced Application Manager BI (Part-Time 60%) :

This position is set to start on October 14, 2024, and is projected to end on September 1, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Location: Liége, with the option for remote work 1 day per week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT solutions supporting Business Intelligence processes, primarily based on SAP BW, SAC, SAP AFO, and SAP Datasphere.
• Coordinate and supervise the IT maintenance team for BI process solutions.
• Manage BI project follow-ups from BUILD to RUN, including daily maintenance activities, resource allocation, scope, planning, budget, quality of deliverables, and risk management.
• Receive, qualify, and prioritize incoming functional requests in the context of application maintenance.
• Monitor the implementation of upgradeable solutions, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maximum utilization of standard functionalities.
• Evaluate and qualify business needs in collaboration with BI-Data solution experts.
• Challenge data estimates and participate in the WBS breakdown of upgrade requests with the support of the BI Quality & Release Manager.
• Formalize requests including need expression, impact analysis, estimates, and task organization.
• Review key design decisions and deliverables from a solution architect's perspective.
• Participate in the implementation of technology roadmaps and the definition, improvement, and application of technical procedures.
• Identify and interact with various technical partners.
• Manage and report on team activities, monitoring variances between actual and estimated figures.
• Coordinate and supervise the IT Business Intelligence team responsible for application maintenance.
• Analyze the impact of BI satellite application releases with the team.
• Act as the main point of contact with the business for the transition from project management to maintenance within the BI domain.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in computer science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI project management and/or BI team coordination.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with BI tools such as SAP BO, SAC, SAP BW, PowerBI.
• Proven mastery of BI concepts: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Dimensions, Facts, ETL, Datamarts, granularity.
• Proven knowledge of BI & Data cloud environments (Data Lake AWS, MS Azure).

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Certifications and knowledge of Project Management (Prince2, Scrum, etc.) and Data Management (GDPR, Product Ownership) methodologies.
• Experience in the energy sector is preferred.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (C1 level).
• Proficiency in French (C2 level).
• Dutch proficiency (C1 level) is a plus.
