For a client, we are seeking a Customer Engagement Associate / Enterprise Data Architect to join one of the Platform Product teams. This role will be instrumental in supporting the product and the entire Enterprise Data Architecture chapter.

Project Duration:

• Start date: 14/10/2024
• End date: 28/02/2026

Work Location:

• Brussel (Hybrid working model with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Act as a front runner for the product, engaging in technical discussions with new initiatives within the group.
• Support the design of Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprints.
• Validate and improve blueprints through active participation in product development.
• Assist Data Product Teams in scoping information domains and defining data products.
• Generate business value for the product team by aligning business and technology to achieve strategic targets.
• Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of the data platform.
• Design enterprise data architecture blueprints in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Prioritize data management, governance, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Support customers from Data Product Teams in designing Transversal Data Models (TDM) and Canonical Data Models (CDM).
• Drive Proof of Concepts to evaluate and validate options for the Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprint.
• Collect and integrate feedback from data product teams to ensure the marketplace meets their needs.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in designing Solutions and Blueprints as a cross-domain Enterprise, Data, or Solution Architect.
• 8+ years of experience in designing Data Integrations within the Enterprise and with external parties, bridging Cloud and on-premise systems.
• 7+ years of experience in establishing best practices, methodologies, frameworks, principles, policies, and processes.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Domain Driven Design.
• Experience in designing and using Data Models.
• Familiarity with messaging systems and/or Event Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of data-intensive API and restful architecture.
• Experience in designing Master Data Management solutions (optional).
• Experience in implementing Big Data and Data Lake (optional).
• 3+ years of experience in developing data-focused products (optional).
• Experience with data-mesh based Architectures (optional).
• Proven experience in metadata management, data catalogs, and metadata harvesting tools.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, German.
