For a client we are seeking a Scrum Master - Expert to join their dynamic team.

This role is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for agile methodologies and a desire to drive project success in a collaborative environment.

Start Date: 02/09/2024
End Date: 01/08/2025

Work Location: Brussel (Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking)
 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, and Retrospective meetings.
• Schedule and monitor key steps of the methodology, ensuring smooth adoption and application of Scrum.
• Provide assistance to the Product Owner with the Product Backlog and support the team in delivering the Definition of Done (DoD) and Sprint Backlog.
• Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
• Coach and challenge the Project Team, promoting self-organization and removing barriers to team effectiveness.
• Act as an ambassador of agile methods within the company and provide reporting on the deployment of the Scrum methodology.
• Manage risks and issues effectively.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g., Jira).
• Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
• Strong knowledge of software development and project management methodologies.

Preferred Experience:

• Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g., Kanban).

• Driven and enthusiastic with an analytical mindset.

Language Requirements:

• Proficient in English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
