For a client in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team. This position is available from late 2024/early 2025 and is a full-time, long-term position. Hybrid working is possible within this role.

Job description:
As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for:

Developing and optimising Android applications to ensure an excellent user experience.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement new functionalities.
Writing clean, reusable and efficient code and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality, test coverage and application architecture.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum processes such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Android Developer.
Thorough knowledge of Kotlin and Java, and experience with Android SDK.
Experience with MVVM/MVP architectures and Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs and developing complex user interfaces.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Language requirements:
Excellent command of the English language.
Command of the Dutch language is a plus.
