Description

As a test coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of projects and ensure customer happiness. You will be responsible to plan and follow-up all test activities and report to the project team and this according to the implemented test strategy. Next to this, we count on you to coach the teams to keep quality in mind and improve their testing knowledge. For example by ensuring to have clear, and testable user stories.

Core responsibilities
 

• Gather test basis and get good understanding of the project in order to build efficient testing materials

 

• Review the test basis and fill in the gaps or clarify inconsistencies

 

• Create a test plan based on the test strategy and ensure it gets implemented without any deviations from any stakeholders.

o (Scope definition, what to test where, how and by who, identify risks and mitigations, entry & exit criteria, …)
 

• Plan, coordinate, follow-up and support on all test activities

 

• You are cost-sensitive and monitor the costs of your proposals at all times

 

• Ensures the quality of created test cases, logged issues, etc. with respect to best practices

 

• Prepare status and test reports, including the associated risks

 

• Communicate and inform all stakeholders on the right level

 

• Proposes improvements to increase the quality of the product

 

• Coach testers and project members on improving the test process and best practices

 

• Work together with other test coordinators and testers to improve and structure the testing 

Profile and skills
 

• You have relevant knowledge and insights, preferably through a bachelor's degree in computer science.

 

• You have a first relevant work experience as test coordinator and also some years as tester.

 

• You are a leader and a coach, ideally used to working with teams located offshore. You are eager to share knowledge, train and advise both project teams and colleagues on best practices to improve the test process and product quality

 

• You are assertive, but are able to communicate in an efficient and diplomatic way.

 

• You are analytical by nature and able to follow up multiple projects at the same time

 

• You are proactive in tackling issues or inform any stakeholders of problems as soon as possible

 

• You are a team player, but can also work independently
