For a client we are seeking an IT Functional Analyst - Expert to join their team on a project basis.

Work Location: Brussel (Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking)

Role Description:

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for identifying business problems and requirements and developing integrated solutions within the enterprise production environment. This role involves investigating costs and benefits, designing detailed solutions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to propose solutions that align with company architecture and strategy.
• Understand and enforce enterprise rules and standards concerning architectural standards and security.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, asset managers, and product owners.
• Act as a liaison between clients, business analysts, and IT teams, coordinating unified views and understanding of client needs.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements during the solution elaboration phase.
• Design application solutions, detailing impacts on application components.
• Oversee development and testing to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
• Provide technical definitions for components supported by various teams.
• Support suppliers during development, integration, and testing phases.
• Analyze defects during the test phase and coordinate solutions for production incidents.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
• Knowledge of risk and credits domain.
• Experience with analysis methodology and financial data.

Preferred Experience:

Practical experience with Scrum in an Agile project environment.
