Service Description:

The product involves several tools and applications to support various departmental and user demands. A new initiative is underway to migrate corporate websites to SiteCore XM Cloud.

Requirements:

Must-have Skills:

• Front-end Development:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and NextJS.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Sitecore XM Cloud:
  • Understanding of XM Cloud architecture, including SaaS nature and composable architecture.
  • Experience with Sitecore Pages and Experience Manager.
  • Knowledge of content delivery capabilities and integration with front-end frameworks like Next.js.
  • Familiarity with security and scalability considerations.
• Next.js & Sitecore JSS Integration:
  • Experience building and deploying Next.js applications with Sitecore XM Cloud using Sitecore JSS.
  • Proficiency in server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) for performance and SEO.
  • Knowledge of best practices for structuring Next.js projects.
• Micro-frontend Architecture:
  • Familiarity with micro-frontends and their benefits.
  • Experience with techniques for building and composing micro-frontends.
• Accessibility:
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and guidelines (WCAG).
  • Experience with semantic HTML and ARIA attributes.
  • Ability to ensure keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.
• Version Control:
  • Proficiency with Git for source code management.
• Docker/Containers:
  • Understanding of containerization concepts.
  • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in English and French or Dutch.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA).
• Knowledge of Sitecore Content Hub and Sitecore Experience Platform (XP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for Sitecore deployments.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of Sitecore search and indexing.
• Experience with testing frameworks for Sitecore and Next.js.
• Knowledge of Sitecore Connect for XM Cloud.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for XM Cloud solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of advanced CDN features like edge computing and security.
