For a client we are seeking a Consultant SAP BC (Part-Time, 3 days/week)
 

Job Description

As a vital member of the SAP team, you will take on the responsibility for the BC component, collaborating closely with the infrastructure team and other SAP Team members. Your involvement will be crucial in the final stages of the Rise migration, transitioning from SAP ECC to Business Suite on Hana (SAP Rise).

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP-related environment components, both existing and new.
• Work independently under the supervision of the SAP Teamlead, ensuring effective communication with service providers to align with project requirements and IT standards.
• Install support packs, conduct system upgrades, refreshes, and troubleshooting.
• Administer databases, monitor systems, and ensure optimal performance of SAP systems.
• Establish system security in accordance with the Security Policy.
• Provide technical support and documentation for all project-related components, including SAP, StreamServe, SCP, etc.
• Offer recommendations and best practices from technical and operational perspectives.
• Conduct technical reviews of implemented solutions.
• Monitor day-to-day execution of tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of job-specific experience with hands-on SAP Basis technologies.
• Proven track record in implementation, upgrade, and maintenance projects.
• Experience with databases: Oracle and Hana.
• Operational experience with SUSE and Windows.
• Familiarity with SAP Rise hosted on Azure hyperscaler.
• Demonstrated understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, and IT practices.
• Analytical skills to understand and optimize business processes for SAP conversion.

Skills

• Proficiency in SAP R/3 Basis and SAP Rise.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.

• English: Advanced
