For a client, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Solutionist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is focused on enhancing the reliability of IT services through a combination of software and systems engineering, as well as the enforcement of best practices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in migrating traditional applications to private cloud environments and preparing for a cloud-native journey towards public cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for Site Reliability Engineering principles among peers and apply these to solutions and the organization.
• Design High Availability and Disaster Recovery capable solutions within a large organization.
• Develop advanced APIs using Java / Springboot.
• Demonstrate advanced platform knowledge in VM (Windows / Linux), container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS), and middleware solutions like event buses (Kafka, MQ), File Transfer, and Application server solutions.
• Manage datastores, both structured and non-structured, including Oracle DBaaS, Cassandra, ECS S3 Objectstore, etc.
• Simplify complex IT initiatives and deliver across multiple teams.
• Develop high available microservices/solutions with an uptime of 24*7, 99.88%.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with private, public (Azure, Google), and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Experience in designing High Available and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Advanced knowledge in API development and platform management.
• Middleware and datastore proficiency.
