For a client we are seeking a System Engineer/Administrator with senior-level experience (6-9 years) to maintain and support a critical platform, ensuring high availability. This full-time position is set to start on November 1, 2024, with an end date of December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a complex Linux stack integrating Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and various applications.
• Enhance the automated deployment stack utilizing Ansible, Docker, and scripting with Bash & Python.
• Provide support to product teams and collaborate with a Center of Expertise team.
• Troubleshoot issues, automate tasks, and ensure the high availability of services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a skilled System Administrator with strong Linux Administration skills.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash & Python.
• Practical experience with Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Elasticsearch will be considered an asset.

Experience Requirements:

• Ansible: Professional level (4-5) with at least 3 years of experience.
• Bash/Shell Scripting: Senior level (6-9) with at least 6 years of experience.
• Docker: Junior level (1-3) with at least 3 years of experience.
• Linux Administration: Senior level (6-9) with at least 6 years of experience.
• Oracle Administration: Junior level (1-3) with at least 1 year of experience.
• Python Scripting: Junior level (1-3) with at least 3 years of experience.
