Microsoft Solution / Data Design Architect Opportunity (Parttime, 2 days/week)

For a client in Brussels, we are looking for a parttime Microsoft Solution / Data Design Architect.

Start Date: March 2025

Work Schedule: 2 days per week (preference for Tuesday and Thursday)

Experience: At least 12 years in ICT, with 5 years in a similar role

Education: Master's degree in IT or equivalent through experience

The Challenge

In this role as a hands-on architect, you will guide teams in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Dynamics 365 Human Resources (HR), Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM), Power Platform, and Azure Cloud within a multicloud environment (Azure, AWS & on-premises). A core challenge is designing and guiding a robust data integration strategy. This includes:

• Integration within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Dynamics, Dataverse, Fabric).
• Connections and data flows within the broader IT environment via APIs and existing systems.
• Supporting a strategic vision on data-driven work, self-service reporting, and cloud-native data management.

Responsibilities

• Developing a scalable and well-integrated IT architecture.
• Strategy for data integration and governance over Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Guiding end-to-end data flows within a hybrid cloud environment.
• Solid Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps approach.
• Ensuring cost-efficient cloud and license management.
• Ensuring security and compliance, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Collaborating with teams for timely and quality delivery of Microsoft-related IT projects.
• Contributing to more efficient and user-friendly IT solutions.

Your Role

• Solution Architecture & Data Integration: Designing and guiding architecture for Dynamics 365 F&O, HR, and Sales (CRM).
• Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) & DevOps: Developing a strategic approach for ALM within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Data Governance, Cloud Governance & Cost Optimization: Advising on data governance within Microsoft Fabric and Dataverse.
• Security, Compliance & Risk Management: Active role in security governance, including Microsoft Entra ID and Copilot Security.
• Enterprise Architecture & Stakeholder Management: Developing and standardizing Enterprise Architecture governance.

What You Bring

• At least 12 years of experience in ICT, with 5 years in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in (hybrid) cloud environments with a focus on MS Azure.
• Expertise in data integration and data flows within Dataverse and Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Dynamics 365 F&O, HR, Sales (CRM), Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Entra ID.
