For a client, we are looking for a Solution & Application Architect (DevOps).
Period: 18/05/2026 – 31/12/2026 with option to extend

General context:
The organization operates in a complex technological environment combining a historical application landscape and modern components. The context includes a structural transformation of the IT landscape, a modernization of architectures, the reduction of technical debt, the adoption of the Cloud and compliance with regulatory requirements, notably NIS2. Existing applications cover critical areas such as unemployment regulation. Some of these systems are based on legacy technologies, while new cloud/hybrid architectures are emerging. The architect plays a key role in harmonizing, securing, and making these architectures coherent. Currently, the assignment would be 20% for architectural work and 80% for lead developer and DevOps.
Support for development teams:
Carry out technical analyses within the framework of business projects.
Advise on integrations, data models, performance and scalability.
Support teams in the adoption of technologies and architectural patterns.
Initiate or validate Proof-of-Concepts.
Supervise and assist the developer team in integrating solutions.
Vision and architectural design:
Define, review and maintain consistent, scalable and secure cloud/hybrid architectures.
Translate the orientations of enterprise architecture into concrete technical models.
Design aligned, efficient and maintainable application and data architectures.
Ensure that architectural decisions support business objectives.
Security, compliance and resilience:
Integrate security by design.
Design secure architectures: network segmentation, robust IAM, access management, encryption.
Translate NIS2 requirements into concrete technical measures.
Promote secure coding practices and supervision and auditability mechanisms.
Governance and quality:
Organize and manage design reviews.
Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
Continuously improve the maintainability, safety and decoupling of systems.
Systematically document architectural choices.
Collaboration and change management:
Ensure communication between business, development, security and infrastructure teams.
Explain technical choices in a clear and accessible manner.
Support collective decision-making and manage the convergence of visions.
Contribute to the upskilling of teams.
Expertise and problem solving:
Analyze and solve complex technical problems in a highly interconnected environment.
Ensure the consistency of legacy and modern components.
Proven experience (10+ years) in designing complex IT architectures.
Proficiency in cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS) and cloud-native principles.
Expertise in modern Java (Spring, microservices, API-driven, event-driven).
Containerization and orchestration skills (OpenShift).
Advanced knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and data modeling.
Integration knowledge: messaging, REST/GraphQL, event-driven.
Knowledge of resilient architectures and high availability.
Understanding safety standards (NIS2).
Excellent capacity for analysis and synthesis.

Master’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
