Solution Architect

Work Schedule: Full-time, 2 office days per week

Languages Required: English and Dutch

Role Description:

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing end-to-end solution architectures for complex business and technical challenges. This role involves translating business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, while ensuring seamless integration across applications, platforms, and external systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in solution architecture and a strong ability to balance business goals with technical constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Design solution architectures for complex systems with multiple applications and integrations.

• Work on multiple initiatives within B2B, often related to the CRM layer.
• Conduct high-level impact assessments and create solution designs for projects.
• Align with both technical and management stakeholders, adapting explanations to the target audience.
• Prepare and document architectural solution alternatives, designs, analyze needs, and formulate transformation plans.
• Help stakeholders understand complexity and costs, challenge business requirements, and provide alternatives.
• Map out the full cost picture and define feasibility and first workable versions.
• Contribute to long-term vision on application modernization and rationalization.
• Enforce guardrails within the organization to maintain an evolving and maintainable application landscape.
• Contribute to the enterprise architecture way of thinking.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architect role, preferably in a complex environment.
• Experience in designing and documenting architectural alternatives and solutions and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and build bridges across various departments.
• Ability to make an impact and provide the best solution, considering all factors.
• Ability to present solutions to a group and convince stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• General software development lifecycle knowledge.
