Key Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand customer and business needs and translate them into valuable, feasible product evolutions.

  • Translate requirements into conceptual models (e.g., use case diagrams, activity diagrams, information models) aligned with the existing application architecture.
  • Collaborate with other product team members to refine requirements into user stories, estimate effort, and ensure sprint delivery.
  • Execute functional tests, support end users during UAT, conduct demo sessions, deliver training, and provide clear documentation.
  • Handle service requests from business stakeholders, manage production issues, and suggest improvements to ensure timely and effective support.
  • Contribute to continuous knowledge sharing and way of working improvements within the team.
  • Actively engage in Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex business challenges.
  • Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience with UML and BPMN.
  • Proficiency in modelling and documentation tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Confluence.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Experience with functional/business analysis and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with backlog/sprint management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; good command of either French or Dutch, with willingness to improve the other.

Mindset We Value:

  • Product-Focused: Deliver real value to users and the business.
  • Collaborative by Nature: Thrive in cross-functional teams and communicate openly.
  • Curious and Proactive: Explore beyond the obvious and challenge the status quo.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: Embrace change and stay flexible under shifting priorities.
  • Committed to Quality: Deliver thoughtful, reliable work with sustainable outcomes.
  • Transparent and Accountable: Bring visibility to progress and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Continuous Learner: Stay curious about technology, the sector, and modern ways of working.

Practical Details:

  • Onsite presence required 3 days/week, remainder in homeworking.
  • The start date of this mission is as soon as possible.
  • Duration of the mission: initially 6 months, with the intention to extend the mission long-term, given the complexity and strategic importance of the domain.
