Senior LMS Consultant 

About the Role:

We are looking for a consultant to support a critical strategic initiative: the full replacement of our current Learning Management System (LMS) and the development of a forward-looking roadmap for our learning technology stack. You will work closely with the Learning Strategist and act as an autonomous driver of stakeholder engagement, RFP Development, and technology advisory, laying the foundation for a major investment decision in Q4 2026.

Context:

Our current LMS is reaching the end of its life, and we are embarking on a full replacement trajectory. This is not a like-for-like swap. We aim to fundamentally improve our learning tech stack, including reviewing integration points with our existing talent management system (SAP SuccessFactors). The scope covers HQ employees and independent banking offices. A budget decision is expected in October 2026, meaning all key deliverables must be validated and ready for presentation before that deadline.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Mapping & Consultation: Identify, map, and consult a large and complex stakeholder landscape across the organization. Ensure all relevant voices are captured ahead of the RFP process.

  • RFP Development and Optimization: Take the existing RFP framework and refine it into a robust, complete document ready for market consultation. Ensure it captures all functional, technical, and integration requirements.
  • Technology Advisory: Support the evaluation of learning technology options, including integration scenarios with SAP SuccessFactors. The LMS and talent management platform do not need to be the same platform.
  • Roadmap Delivery: Produce a clear, actionable roadmap outlining the steps forward into 2027, serving as the strategic backbone for the next phase of the project.
  • LMS Continuity Management: In parallel, support in understanding and strategizing the necessary investments in our current LMS system to minimize resource waste during the transition period.

Your Profile:

  • Solid experience in learning technology consulting or LMS project management.

  • 9 to 15 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the LMS/LXP market and current trends in learning tech.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
  • Experience running or supporting RFP processes for technology solutions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical options into strategic recommendations.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong plus.
  • Comfort operating in a regulated, structured environment is an asset.
