Role Description:

We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated DEV Engineer to join our AML Squad. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Unix, batch processing, SQL, Java, API development, and cloud technologies. You will play a crucial role in managing complex data flows, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, and contributing to the development and deployment of high-quality applications. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Unix-based systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain batch scripts for operational task automation.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain Java-based APIs.
• Leverage cloud technologies for scalability and performance.
• Participate in complex data flow projects, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies for high-quality code.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work autonomously in problem-solving.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Unix and command-line tools.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in Java and API development.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of NetReveal is preferable. Banking experience, especially in KYC and AML, is advantageous.
