For a client, we are seeking a seasoned Finance Subject Matter Expert to join a dynamic team as a Collection Officer. This role is pivotal in a credit collection project and requires a professional with a strong background in finance and credit collection processes.

Job Title: Collection Officer
Project Duration: Start date 12/11/2024 - End date 11/12/2024
Work Location: Brussel (Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a debt collection project, beginning with the cleanup of unpaid invoices.
• Engage with clients through calls and send reminders to address outstanding payments.
• Take corrective actions as necessary and log cases for proper follow-up.
• Maintain effective communication with Finance colleagues and other departments such as Customer Care.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in economics or a similar field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit collection.

Technical Skills:

Mandatory: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Preferable: Experience with SalesForce.

Business Experience:

Mandatory: Proven track record in credit collection.

Language Requirements:

Dutch: Fluent
French: Fluent
English: Basic
