For a client, we are seeking a Service Owner Middleware and Data Transmission with the following profile:

Job Title: Service Owner Middleware and Data Transmission

Project Duration: Approximately 12 months starting ASAP

Location: Oost-Vlaanderen

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the stability, availability, and security of business-critical systems to meet business expectations cost-effectively.
• Simplify, re-platform, and consolidate systems.
• Manage and challenge Service Providers to ensure quality service delivery.
• Support day-to-day operational activities for outsourced services including Websphere Application services, Websphere MQSeries, ABINITIO services, MFT/FTP administration, and TDOE administration.
• Act as a Level 3 coordinator and troubleshooter for various functional and technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal support teams and external Service Providers to manage solutions.
• Engage with business areas and users to address their needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing Service Providers.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Websphere Application Services, Websphere MQSeries, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Service Now ticketing tool.
• Previous work in an international environment and in 'Project mode'.
• Experience in Technical Design Analysis.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of AbInitio, Solarwinds Serv-U, UNIX, Linux, and any knowledge of MS Azure server is valuable.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adopt specific processes.
• Ability to work outside of regular hours during implementations.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English.
