For a client we are seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to join our team on a project basis. This project is set to commence as soon as possible and is expected to conclude in Q1/2025.
Job Title: Active Directory Specialist
Project Duration: Start ASAP - Q1/2025
Location: Antwerpen with an on-site presence of two to three working days per week. Please note that no activities are permitted for the external workforce from December 18th to January 6th.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assist in migrating applications from LDAP to sLDAP protocol, including contact with application owners and analysis through Load Balancer.
- Engage with application owners or users to transition from RC4 encrypted passwords, focusing on service accounts.
- Review and provide recommendations or remediation for issues identified in Red & Purple team exercises using Ping Castle tooling, including stale object and privileged account issues.
- Analyze and remediate anomalies, misconfigured Certificate templates, and Trust rules.
- Assist in preparing a schema update for Active Directory.
- Support the Identity Access Management team by creating procedures and scripts for AD group membership provisioning, with a focus on the AD aspect of scripting.
- Work under the supervision of Active Directory administrators, documenting unresolved issues or proposing alternatives.
- Explore solutions for migrating legacy applications to legacy domain controllers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Proven ability to work independently and in close collaboration with a team.
- Experience in cybersecurity and familiarity with Red & Purple team exercises.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting for Active Directory.
- Experience with identity access management systems, specifically Sailpoint, is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to analyze and remediate complex technical issues.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
