For a client we are seeking a System Engineer/Administrator with senior-level experience (6-9 years). This role is set to commence on 1st November 2024 and will conclude on 31st December 2025.

Location: Brussel
Responsibilities:

• Maintain and ensure high availability of critical platforms.
• Manage complex Linux environments including Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and various applications.
• Enhance automated deployment processes using Ansible, Docker, and scripting with Bash & Python.
• Provide support to product teams and collaborate with a Center of Expertise team.
• Troubleshoot issues, automate tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator with strong Linux Administration skills.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Bash/Shell Scripting.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Linux Administration.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Ansible.
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker and Python Scripting.
• Knowledge of Oracle Administration and familiarity with Kafka, Elasticsearch will be considered an asset.
