For one of our clients, we are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer:
We are seeking a talented and motivated computer vision engineer to join our data science and software development team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and deploy computer vision algorithms for automated inspection on our high speed production lines. You collaborate with our hardware engineers to select the most optimal camera setup and to integrate it into our equipment. You design and develop computer vision algorithms for real-time image analysis and inspection. You work closely together with our software engineers to embed the resulting algorithms into our vision software.
Key Responsibilities
- consult stakeholders, collect and document user requirements and functional specifications
- translate requirements into software & hardware architecture (you will be assisted by a hardware engineer and a software architect)
- design data acquisition campaigns and develop labelling strategies
- develop scalable, performant and reliable computer vision algorithms for real-time image analysis and inspection
- optimize vision system to enhance performance (throughput & accuracy) and increase reliability
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed vision algorithms in manufacturing equipment and inspection software
- stay up to date with latest industry trends and technologies to
- ensure our in-house solutions remain cutting edge
Skills & Qualifications
- Master degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field
- 7 years of work experience
- proven experience in designing and developing computer vision algorithms
- proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++
- strong understanding of deep learning techniques and their application in computer vision
- experience with deep learning frameworks and libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Yolo, ...)
- experience with integration and calibration of camera setups
- strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- fluent in English and Dutch
- analytical mindset, pragmatic problem solver
- ability to collaborate in cross functional teams
- previous experience in the pharmaceutical or other strongly regulated industry is a plus
