For a client, we are seeking an Expert in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence with proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server & PostgreSQL. The project is set to commence immediately and will run until January 31, 2025. The role includes remote work options and requires fluency in French, Dutch, and English.

Job Title: Expert Data Engineering and Business Intelligence
Project Duration: Immediate start - 31/01/2025
Location: Brussel (with remote work options)

Responsibilities:

• Implement a Data Warehouse using Microsoft technologies (SSIS, SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI).
• Integrate primary data sources, develop data models, and set up the first OLAP cube.
• Develop ETL processes with SSIS to ensure data quality and optimize load times.
• Manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning and index management.
• Utilize SSAS to implement multidimensional models for complex analyses.
• Create interactive reports on Power BI Report Server.
• Implement security measures and manage user permissions for data access.
• Provide comprehensive documentation and training to administrators and users.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in Data Warehouse implementation and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
• Ability to design OLAP cubes and develop ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and user management in a data environment.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Certifications in relevant technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, PostgreSQL).

Language Proficiency:
