Program Manager

For one of our clients we are looking for a Program Manager with extensive experience in IT and physical rollouts, particularly in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. This role requires strong project management skills, familiarity with IT infrastructure implementation, and the ability to manage large budgets effectively. 

Key Information:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (2 days on-site)
  • Languages: Dutch, French, English
  • Contract Duration: Long-term 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate SteerCo meetings, project update sessions, and effectively guide project resources.
  • Oversee project budgets exceeding 1 million euros.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, particularly within the public sector.
  • Coordinate and lead various projects, including IT rollouts in buildings and other physical spaces.
  • Conduct and manage projects in domains such as meeting room equipment installation, digital and smart workplaces, standardization of IT equipment (e.g., smart lockers), and projects related to the "New Way of Working."
  • Act as a central point of communication for stakeholders at all levels, creating clear, relevant documentation and presentations for different audiences.
  • Promote and uphold the core values of Professionalism, Respect, Entrepreneurship, Collaboration, and Leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements for working in Belgium.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT-related program management, including experience in large-scale physical infrastructure rollouts.
  • Industry Experience: Proven record in one or more relevant domains as a Program Manager (e.g., meeting room equipment, digital/smart workplaces, etc.).
  • Public Sector Experience: Previous work within or alongside the public sector.
  • Certifications: ITIL (V3/4) and either PM² or PMBOK certifications.
  • Methodology Knowledge: Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and SAFe (considered an asset).
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrated “can do” attitude, strong time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and produce documentation at various levels for diverse audiences.
