For a client, we are seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Policy Management and Declaration Handling to join their team on a part-time basis (4/5). This role is set to commence as soon as possible and will conclude on February 28, 2025. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with the necessity to work on-site as required.

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing, developing, and optimizing business processes in the realm of policy management and declaration handling. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the analyst will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation and execution of policy-related workflows, with a strong emphasis on process improvement, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage the lifecycle of policies and declarations, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate the creation, review, and approval processes for policy documentation and declaration forms.
• Maintain and update policy management systems for accuracy and accessibility.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for IT teams and vendors.
• Identify and implement improvements to policy handling and declaration management processes.
• Analyze policy-related data to provide insights and prepare reports on policy performance and compliance metrics.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, legal, compliance, and IT teams.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate policy changes and business process impacts.
• Support compliance and risk management activities, including audits and risk assessments.
• Enhance the functionality of policy management and declaration systems in collaboration with IT teams.
• Provide user training and support for policy management systems.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in policy management, risk management.
• Familiarity with policy management software and declaration systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with policy management systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts).
• Understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management processes in a policy-driven environment.

Language Proficiency:

• Dutch or French is nice to have.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required.
