For a client, we are seeking a Java Developer with a focus on DevOps practices to join our team. This is a position starting on January 1, 2025, and concluding on June 30, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Support Agile transformation by collaborating with cross-functional squads to accelerate software delivery.
• Apply DevOps expertise to streamline software delivery processes, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Integrate Security and Agile controls within the delivery flow to maintain a secure process.
• Provide guidance as a lead coach, designer, and mentor to less experienced team members.
• Explore innovative processes, products, and technologies, and offer strategic input on the continuous delivery pipeline.
• Contribute to the DevOps maturity roadmap and advocate for common architectural patterns.
• Promote the adoption of Tooling Services and engage with DevOps champions to build a community of practice.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and upper management, fostering a customer-centric approach.
• Lead the automation of software delivery pipelines and integrate compliance-as-code principles.
• Define strategies to enhance DevOps practices and validate ongoing improvement measures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT automation projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focusing on SDLC pipelines.
• Extensive experience in IT/software delivery, preferably with security-focused architectures and PaaS delivery models.
• Proven experience in Unix/Linux environments; system engineering is a plus.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/Cloudbees CI, Nexus, Bitbucket/git, or equivalent), automation/scripting (Python, Terraform, Ansible, etc.), and containerization platforms (Docker, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of infrastructure and testing automation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in agile teams, with experience in maturity process assessments and/or Value Stream analysis.
• A university degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
