Technical Design Authority and Infrastructure Service Owner – Windows/Unix

For a client, we are seeking a Technical Design Authority and Infrastructure Service Owner with expertise in Windows/Unix environments. This role is a 12-month contract starting ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Technical Design Authority, evaluating design impacts on Datacenter Services, translating requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality infrastructure components.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities for Windows and UNIX/Linux servers, including system services and Citrix.
• Function as a Level 3 coordinator and troubleshooter for various functional and technical issues, collaborating with internal support teams and external Service Providers.
• Manage and challenge Service Providers to maximize system stability, availability, and security while meeting business expectations at a reasonable cost.
• Drive efforts to simplify, re-platform, and consolidate systems to improve infrastructure stability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing Service Providers and in Technical Design Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Citrix, UNIX/Linux, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Service Now ticketing tool.
• Any knowledge of MS Azure server will be considered valuable.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
• Availability to work outside of standard working hours during implementations.
